Josh Corey

Property Manager | Co-Founder

Josh brings over 15 years of project engineering experience and a sharp eye for operational excellence. A 2010 Penn State Mechanical Engineering graduate, his technical background and systems-driven mindset shape every aspect of how properties are operated and optimized. Years of extensive travel during his engineering career also gave him a firsthand appreciation for what separates an average stay from a truly exceptional guest experience.

With more than five years of hands-on experience managing his own portfolio of short-term vacation rentals—and currently overseeing 11 properties under full-service management—Josh has developed deep expertise in property operations, guest satisfaction, and revenue optimization. He is highly skilled in vacation rental technology, leveraging advanced software tools and booking platforms to streamline operations, maximize performance, and consistently deliver five-star experiences for both guests and property owners.

Josh’s strategic, detail-oriented approach ensures every property under WE ARE Vacation Rentals is operated efficiently, protected like his own, and positioned to generate strong, reliable income for owners.

With over a decade of experience in real estate construction and six years successfully running his own remodeling business, Jason brings invaluable expertise to Howler Homes. His craftsmanship, design sense, and operational knowledge ensure every property is beautifully styled, highly functional, and built to withstand the demands of vacation rental guests.

Jason leads property renovations, staging, and ongoing maintenance coordination, overseeing everything from preventative upkeep to responsive repairs. He works closely with trusted vendors and contractors to ensure issues are addressed quickly and correctly, helping protect each asset while minimizing downtime. Whether it’s a modern coastal retreat for families or a cozy mountain escape for couples, his commitment to quality and attention to detail make every property shine.

Joe Nastasi brings strong local roots, proven leadership, and operational excellence to WE ARE Vacation Rentals. A proud Penn State graduate and former Penn State Football Team Captain, Joe’s background and connections throughout Happy Valley help open doors and build trust with both property owners and guests.

Joe is also the owner of Black Diamond Cleaning Solutions, State College’s premier short-term rental cleaning company and WE ARE Vacation Rentals’ trusted cleaning partner.
